General Meeting Information


Will sessions be available online during and after the conference?
Yes. Sessions will be available for on-demand viewing post-conference for any registrants unable to attend a session.

*Please note that EACCME credit will not be given to registrants who did not participate in the live stream. Only a certificate of attendance may be obtained for participation in the on-demand viewing, post-conference.

How long will all recorded sessions and live broadcasts be available?
Paid registrants will have access to on-demand content for 90 days after the conference. After 90 days, some conference highlights may become available to the public.

In what language will the conference be broadcast?
The iwCLL sessions will be presented in English only. Closed captioning will be available for other language preferences.

Can my computer or mobile device handle the virtual event?
You will need access to an updated internet browser and good strong internet connection. Sessions can be viewable on a phone, tablet or computer. The best experience will be on a Google Chrome internet browser with a minimum internet speed connection of 2MB/s upload/download.

Will I be able to see the presenters for each session?
Yes. You will be able to see all session speakers along with their presentations.

Accessing the Platform


How do I log into the iwCLL virtual conference platform?
Visit the virtual conference website: https://www.eventScribe.net/2021/iwCLL2021/login.asp

You’ll be directed to the iwCLL log-in page. Sign in to the platform using the same email address you registered with, and your individual Registrant ID found in the platform invitation email. If you forget your login, click “Forgot Access Key”

The first time you log-in you’ll be asked to accept the privacy policy and set-up your profile.

You’re now logged in! You can start favoriting sessions and events to save them to your schedule.

I have registered for the conference but when logging in, it says “Account was not found” or I used the “Forgot Access Key?” link but haven’t received the email.

How do I view the virtual program, on-demand?
On-demand presentations can be viewed by selecting On-Demand Presentations button on the website or via the app. You can browse by session, or use the search bar to locate a presentation. Once you have selected a presentation, a pop-up will appear, and you will click View On-Demand Video in the bottom right- hand corner. Slides are accessible by clicking on the Slides button.

Mobile App Information


How do I download the iwCLL mobile app?
The app will be used to send reminders for important events, see your schedule, submit your CEs, view Posters and watch sessions on the go.

Step 1: Using the log in information provided to you in the email from iwCLL, Log into the website from your personal computer to create your account.

Step 2: Once your account has been completed online, you can log into the app.

Step 3: To download the mobile app, Install the free ‘eventScribe’ app from the App Store or the Google Play Store. Search for ‘iwCLL 2021 Virtual Program’.

Step 4: You will be prompted to log in with your Username and Access Key provided in the email from iwCLL.

What type of device do I need to use the app?

Android Devices: Android OS 6.0 or higher.
Apple Devices (iPhone or iPad): iOS 10.0 or higher.

How to Use the Website and Mobile App How do I update my profile or add a photo?
While logged in to your account, you can navigate to your profile by clicking on your first name and last initial in the top right corner, clicking the drop-down arrow, and selecting My Conference Profile. To add a photo, click Upload Photo, crop as needed, and then click Save My Profile.

How do I access the sessions, and other conference materials?
Many features are only accessible to registered delegates. Once logged in, the vertical menu on the left side of the screen will give you options for browsing the various aspects of the conference.

How do I view posters?
Navigate to the vertical menu on the left side and there will be several options to search and view posters in the Poster Gallery or Poster Wall. The Poster Gallery can also be found on the button in the main home screen. You are able to search by topic, title, and author. Once you have selected a poster to view, the pop up will include a thumbnail image. Select the thumbnail to zoom in and out for better viewing. Some posters may have accompanied audio and this will automatically play once the thumbnail image is selected. The abstract text for the posters will be embargoed until 13 September at 14:00 CEST, but will appear in the pop- up window.

How do I modify the settings I selected when I logged into the app (e.g., edit my profile, update privacy options)?
Settings can be modified by selecting your name in the top right-hand corner of the main screen, select My Profile from the drop down. On the networking tab on your profile page, you can adjust your privacy options.

How do I view my favorited sessions, posters, and exhibitors?
To view your favorites, select your name in the top right-hand corner of the main screen. Select My Experience from the drop-down.

How do I take notes or draw on presentation slides?
To take notes or draw on presentation slides, you must first download the slides. Use “Schedule” to navigate to a presentation. Select “View Slides,” then “Notes.” Use the “Notes” mode to type notes adjacent to the slide. To return to the full slide view, select “Nav.” Notes are automatically saved. Use the “Pen” to draw directly on the slide and the “Marker” to highlight areas of the slide.

How do I take notes when there are no slides?
Use “Schedule” to navigate to a presentation. Select “Take Notes,” then select the “Notes” mode to type notes adjacent to the blank slide. To return to the full view, select “Nav.” Notes are automatically saved.

How do I send/retrieve messages to/from other app users within the app?
To send a message to an app user select “Browse App Users” under the “People” tile on the app’s home screen. Next, select the name of the user to which you would like to send a message and then select the “Send Message” button on the navigation bar located at the bottom of the screen. Type your message and send. Received messages can be found by selecting the “Messages” button located in the navigation bar at the bottom of the app’s main screen.

Survey/Claim CE


Instructions for Credit
In the iwCLL website, access through the Survey/Claim CE button on the homepage. Please complete any Session Evaluations for which you attended as well as the mandatory Overall Conference Evaluation to receive your credit/certificate. From the Task List area, you will be able to select Sessions Attended, Select Certificate Type, complete all Session Evaluations and the Overall Conference Evaluation, and Download Certificates

Delegates have until 20 December 2021 to claim CE or receive a certificate of attendance.

Accreditation


The XIX International Conference on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Virtual broadcast, Germany, 13/09/2021-20/09/2021 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 15 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

EACCME® credits
Each delegate can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form.
